Christmas Traditions

Hey!

My family, like every other, has several family traditions. They have become more and more a part of our family’s Christmas as the years go on. These are my favorite family traditions.
Buying The Christmas Tree As A Family: I know that a lot of people do this but I really love going as a family to pick out the tree. We go to the same place every year. We usually buy a wreath for our front door too.
Decorating the Christmas Tree On Christmas Eve: We ALWAYS decorate the Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve. Sometimes one of my siblings will suggest doing it earlier but they are usually shouted down by multiple people. Over the years, the younger kids have done more and more of the decorating. My parents usually just watch on the couch, now.
Kids Christmas Shopping: About two weeks before Christmas(We’re really late Christmas shoppers!), all of the kids will pile in the car and make a trip to the Dollar Store and Walmart together to buy presents. Since all of my older sisters have their licenses, it’s become a completely kids affair. My oldest sister won’t be able to make it this year, though, since she now lives in Virginia so it’ll be a little different.
Bye!

  1. Hi, Anna! I’m popping over to visit you guys because Hannah commented on the Bethlehem Walk on my blog. I think it is so cool that y’all know what Bethlehem Walk is, and it does make for another good Christmas tradition. 😀
